It’s our SITS Day!

Obviously that’s why you are all here, right?

What? You don’t know about SITS? Oh, prepare to be wowed!!

SITS is a blogging community that absolutely rocks! All of us there are dedicated to supporting and learning from one another. Community is something that’s essential to bloggers. When you’re sitting at your computer putting words out into the ether, it helps to know that there are people who’ve got your back. (And if you’re not a blogger, it’s a fantastic place to go and find great new blogs to read…but remember we’re still your favorite, right?)

As women and mothers we feel very strongly about validating those in the trenches with us. Feeling like you are a part of something bigger than yourself reminds you that you’re not alone in all of “this”…carpool, husbands who can’t multi-task, laundry, houses that don’t clean themselves, and children who kind of expect you to feed them each day–sometimes even multiple times a day (freeloaders)!

So whether you’re visiting us this first time from SITS ( Hello, you sexy thing! Those yoga pants are so flattering!), or stopping by for your usual daily Dose of Reality (You’ve changed your hair, haven’t you? It’s fabulous!), welcome!!

So “SITS” yourself down, put up your feet, make yourself at home, and let us know if you need a refill on that coffee and some day old Goldfish to go with it! Our house is your house…sorry we didn’t have time to pick up before you got here!

Oh, and don’t forget to subscribe to the blog because studies have shown that Dose of Reality readers have a 50% reduction in gingivitis, follow us on Facebook where we channel our inner Nigel Tufnel and turn up the snark to 11, and check out our Pinterest boards so you can see what stuff we’d cook if our kitchen counters were clear enough to set down a cookie sheet! You know you want to!

  47. Happy SITS Day, my friends! Let me take this opportunity since I follow you everywhere to tell you how much I adore, love, can’t live without your blog. I don’t remember when I started reading it but have loved it from day 1. It is either how I start my day or end my day depending on when I get online. You guys are not only fabulous bloggers/writers but fabulous women and friends, that I fully expect to be sitting at a pool with drinking frosty drinks and reading trashy novels with.
